This section outlines the steps for enabling SAS application in VantageCloud Lake Console. As an administrator of your organization’s VantageCloud Lake Environment, you can install SAS application.
- From the User Defined Functions page, select Third Party Applications.
- Under Available Partner Solutions, select SAS.
- From Configure Partner Solution screen, fill out the form and select Install.

To change version once installed, you must uninstall the application, and install the new version.You can follow the progress in the VantageCloud Lake Console from User Defined Functions page under Third Party Applications.- If an error occurs, select the vertical ellipses corresponding to your environment and select View Details to see error details. Contact https://support.teradata.com for resolution of the persistent errors.
- If you want to stop the installation, select Cancel Installation from the vertical ellipsis.
- Once installation is complete, the state of your environment transitions to Installed. You can verify that the UDFs and XSPs are installed under the SAS_SYSFNLIB database and a throttle for SAS queries.The installed functions and stored procedures only run in the Primary Cluster.
