A spool generated from a table with autocompression has no autocompression, though the spool may have inherited user-specified compression based on the rules for spool inheriting the compression characteristics of its parent. This means a large spool relative to the size of the column partitions can be generated if those column partitions are highly compressed by the autocompression and there is little or no selectivity.
