To make full use of the Latin character repertoire, the current best practice is to use either UTF8 or UTF16 session character sets. Check to see if that is compatible for your application. However, Latin does not support the complete UTF8 nor UTF16 repertoire and strings are limited to 32000 characters by the session character set.
