After setting up the PrivateLink for AWS, follow these steps to create endpoint:

  1. Go to the AWS portal and logon to your account.
  2. Select the same region used where your VantageCloud Lake environment is deployed. This is the same VantageCloud Lake environment to which you are setting up connectivity using PrivateLink.
  3. Search for VPC service and select Endpoints in the left panel.
  4. Follow these steps to create new endpoint:
    1. Click Create endpoint.
    2. Enter a name for the endpoint.
    3. In Service category, select Other endpoint services.
    4. In Service name, enter the service name shown in VantageCloud Lake Console.
    5. Select the appropriate VPC in your AWS account in which you want to create the endpoint.
    6. In Subnets, select the one from the AZ you want to connect to VantageCloud Lake environment.
    7. In Security Group, select the one which allows the traffic to VantageCloud Lake environment (must allow either port 1025 or 443 or both the ports based on your requirements).
    8. In Tags, select the required ones to the resource.
  5. Click Create endpoint.
