- These connections are configurable through self-service and do not require a Teradata consulting engagement.
- VantageCloud Lake on AWS supports bi-directional query initiation with VantageCloud Lake on AWS, VantageCloud Enterprise on AWS, and VantageCore (on-premises) using the Teradata-to-Teradata connector.
- VantageCloud Lake on Azure supports bi-directional query initiation with VantageCloud Lake on Azure, VantageCloud Enterprise on Azure, and VantageCore (on-premises) using the Teradata-to-Teradata connector.
- VantageCloud Lake on Google Cloud supports bi-directional query initiation with VantageCloud Enterprise on Google Cloud and VantageCore (on-premises) using the Teradata-to-Teradata connector.
- VantageCloud Lake and Hive support bi-directional query initiation with the Teradata-to-Apache Hive connector.
- Deleting QueryGrid resources is not self-service. Create a change request on https://support.teradata.com to delete QueryGrid services.
Backup and Restore (BAR)
- Only full system backup and restore are supported. For primary clusters data, Teradata uses backup and restore runbooks. For objects in an Object File System, Teradata relies on native Amazon S3 resiliency for data protection.
- Teradata Managed Services manually performs backup and restore operations using runbooks.

Data Mover enables you to define and edit jobs that copy specified database objects, such as tables, users, views, macros, stored procedures, and statistics, from one Vantage system to another Vantage system.

VantageCloud Lake does not support the following:
- Query Service
