Prerequisite
  • For AWS: You will need the AWS account ID associated with the external Vantage system.
  • For Azure: You will need the Azure subscription ID associated with the external Vantage system.
  1. Sign in to your VantageCloud Lake account.
  2. Go to: Data Copy > Connection list.
  3. Select + in Connection list tab to display the Connect environment window. The system lists all environments that have a QG Foreign Server setup.
  4. Select your preferred external environment from the list and select Next.
  5. Enter the AWS Account ID (for an AWS environment) or Azure Subscription Id (for an Azure environment) associated with the external Vantage system and select Enable Private Link.
  6. Once the Private link is enabled, the VPC Endpoint Service name in the Cloud Lake account will be provided. Save the VPC Endpoint service name for the next step to set up a VPC endpoint on the external vantage system.
