Prerequisite

QueryGrid must already be configured with Lake to Lake connectivity to the desired VantageCloud Lake environment. Instructions for this are provided in the QueryGrid UI when connecting a VantageCloud Lake Data Source.

For clarity, this user guide refers to the VantageCloud Lake environment where Data Copy is installed as the Local VantageCloud Lake and the VantageCloud Lake environment you are connecting to as the Remote VantageCloud Lake.
  1. Enable PrivateLink endpoint service on Remote VantageCloud Lake. For instructions, see Enable PrivateLink Endpoint Service on Remote VantageCloud Lake.
  2. Open a Change Request to create VantageCloud Lake PrivateLink Endpoint for Data Copy. For instructions, see Create a VantageCloud Lake PrivateLink Endpoint for Data Copy.
  3. Add Data Copy connection from Local to Remote VantageCloud Lake. For instructions, see Add a Data Copy Connection from Local to Remote VantageCloud Lake.
