This capability is in Limited Availability (Preview) and only available to selected customers. Contact your sales representative if you are interested in having access to it.
- In the VantageCloud Lake console, select your environment.
- Select Data Protection tab.
- In Disaster Recovery, select Create.
- In the Plan name, enter the name and click Next.
- In the Target environment, select the environment to where data restores in case of failover, and click Next.If the environment is not available, create one. See Create an Environment: Organization Admin.
- In Objects, no selection required as only full environment disaster recovery plans are currently supported. Click Next .
- In Schedule, set the schedule as required and click Next.
- In Retention Policy, select how many successful backup copies of your TDFS data you want to retain. These copies are saved as restore points on both source and target environments.
- Click Create.
A message displays indicating successful creation of the disaster recovery plan. You can view the same in the Plans tab of Disaster Recovery pane.
