The disaster recovery (DR) with cross site recovery of backups is available on AWS and Azure for VantageCloud Lake for full system backups.
The DR supports both Teradata Block Storage and OFS for AWS and Azure. This capability is available on AWS and Azure for VantageCloud Lake for full system backups.
As a database administrator (DBA), you can set up a disaster recovery (DR) solution, on an AWS site, by repurposing an existing site (such as a Test or Development site) as a DR site in a different region or zone. This approach makes sure your data is safe by replicating it in an alternate zone or region, thereby ensuring business continuity.
You can perform failover for planned DR test events or unplanned actual DR events. You must make sure both NOSFS bucket in source and target are HNS disabled.
The DR supports both Teradata Block Storage and OFS storage.
