You can create reusable reports to provide meaningful insights using the query results data.
- Sign on into VantageCloud Lake Console.
- In the Editor, run a query.
- On the results window, select , then Visualize.The Visualization window appears with RESULTS and CHARTS tabs.
- From the Results tab, select Add to Report or select data from Charts (only Bar, Line, Pie, and Heatmap chart types are supported for Report generation) and select Add to Report.You can add up to eight widgets per report.
- 5. [Optional] Select Drilldown, if required, and select the required columns.
You can enable drilldown for Bar or Line chart types with selected function as SUM, AVERAGE, MAXIMUM, MINIMUM, or COUNT. Ensure to select drilldown columns are hierarchical, such as, State → County → City to view the correct result. Use the navigation in the Visualization chart to navigate between the drilldown levels.
- In the Add to my reports window, enter the new name or select from the existing reports, to add the report.
- Select the chart size.
- Select Add.
- Select Confirm on the dialog (applicable only to new reports)The new report appears on the Reports window.Only reports pertaining to the environment you are using are shown.
- On the Reports page, select , then Generate data.
- Upon successful data loading, the Data generation status changes to Generated. The other status are Partially generated and Failed (usually because of database and query issues or session failures).
- Select the newly created report to view it.
