The Overview tab provides detailed information about key metrics for the selected query.
Query Information
The metrics displayed are as follows:
| Metric | Description |
|---|---|
| Spool space | Current spool used by current request across all AMPs, expressed as number of bytes. |
| Hot AMP spool | Spool value of the highest spool-utilized AMP during the life of the current request on the session. |
| Spool skew | Current spool skew for the query. |
| Temp space | Total amount, in bytes, of temporary space used by the session. |
| Request CPU | Total CPU seconds consumed to run the query. |
| Request I/O | Total number of disk I/Os performed. |
| PJI | Ratio of the CPU milliseconds per I/O for the query, where a larger Product Join Index number indicates system performance degradation. |
| Unnecessary I/O | All AMP I/O divided by all AMP CPU, displayed in milliseconds, to reveal large amounts of I/O occurring over a short period of time. |
Workload Information
The metrics displayed are as follows:
| Metric | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | Name of the workload where the query is actively running. |
| Method | Name of the workload management method. Values are:
|
| CPU decay | Most severe level of CPU resource access restriction for queries in a Timeshare workload. |
| I/O decay | Most severe level of I/O resource access restriction for queries in a Timeshare workload. |
| Classification mode | How a query or session is assigned to a workload. Values are:
|
| Virtual partition | Name of the virtual partition. |
Snapshot Information
The metrics displayed are as follows:
| Metric | Description |
|---|---|
| Impact CPU | CPU impact on the system based on the highest utilized AMP and calculated at the request level. |
| Snapshot CPU skew | CPU skew during the last sample. |
| Snapshot I/O skew | I/O skew during the last sample. |
Session Information
The metrics displayed are as follows:
| Metric | Description |
|---|---|
| User | Name of the user that submitted the query. |
| Proxy user | Name of the proxy user when a trusted session is used. |
| Account | Account of the user that submitted the query. |
| Partition | Name of the session partition associated with this session. Following a successful logon request by a session or as part of a connect request, the session identifies the partition with which the user wants the session to be associated. |
| Requests | Number of queries submitted by the session. |
| Source | Source details, such as application name, IP address, and host user name. |
