In addition to the techniques for preparing INMODs listed in Preparing the INMOD Program which apply to all platforms, there are several rules that must be followed only for developing C INMODs for UNIX system-based clients. These are:
- The INMOD subroutine must be named _dynamn.
- The INMOD must be compiled with the native C compiler.
- The compiled INMOD module must be linked into a shared object module.
