Using node and package information gathered from previous steps, PUT groups nodes into systems, and then groups with the system. When the screen with the initial state of the system is displayed, click + to expand the tree.
Systems available for name change are displayed to the right of the screen. A system that is not Teradata, Hadoop, Aster, or SAS does not appear available for name change. If TDput cannot determine the current system name, for example System0, System1, etc., the system is not available for renaming.
- On the right side of the screen, click the system to be renamed.
- Click Modify System.

In Modify System Name text field, enter the new system name.
The new system name must meet the following requirements:- Be 15 or fewer characters
- Contain only uppercase letters and numbers
- Begin with a letter.
- Click Submit Changes.
