The Create Pdisk Links step associates global volume names used by Teradata with local platform-specific device names on each node. A global pdisk link is created for each global volume name so its corresponding storage device is accessible on each node in the configuration.
For Teradata Database release 13.0 or later, this step also initializes all new pdisks for TVS use and then runs the TVS profiler.
No user interaction is required.
