Step Error Message Error Meaning
Gather Package Info Media Scanning Errors Occurred! /var/opt/teradata/customermodepkgs directory does not exist.
Confirm Package Selections Error! No packages were found in any of the media sources searched. /var/opt/teradata/customermodepkgs directory is empty.
Select Packages PUT was not able to find any packages to auto-select. /var/opt/teradata/customermodepkgs directory does not contain any packages that PUT automatically installs.
Select Packages Invalid Package Selection

For example, if you are running a newer database version than you are trying to install, the system reports:

You are performing a Teradata efix upgrade. The Teradata packages being installed must match the running Teradata major.minor.maintenance version.
/var/opt/teradata/customermodepkgs directory contains invalid package versions.
