The Gather Package Info step collects detailed information about packages available on the media specified in the Media Sources step and confirms the packages. It also collects detailed information about packages installed on the selected nodes.
If the Gather Package Info step cannot find any packages in the specified directory, a message appears directing you to go back to the Get Directory step. In the Get Directory step, you can specify a valid full path to the directory containing available package directories one or two levels below it.
