PUT's Customer Mode provides customers and Teradata Support a streamlined process for applying patches and upgrades. Customer Mode is designed to apply Vantage efix and maintenance updates, but can also be used to upgrade other applications from a cert list.
Customer Mode is highly automated. It is initialized by signing into PUT without entering a Teradata Quicklook ID.
Upgrades in Customer Mode may result in long periods of system activity. The spinning icon on the top right of the screen indicates that the system is active.
