The Confirm Package Selections screen lists the packages to be installed, and the number of nodes to be installed on each package. The following options are available:
  • To view the list of nodes where the package is to be installed, click the package button in the Package To Be Installed column.
  • To make changes to the package or node selections, click Back to return to the Select Packages screen.
  • If all selections are correct, click Next to continue.

Space Checking

On Linux systems, PUT calculates the space required to spool and add the selected packages and displays an error if there is insufficient space in the /(root) or /var/opt/teradata directories.

The PUT log provides information similar to the following:

SLES Upgrades/SLES Move Ops

A SLES upgrade/SLES Move Op requires the following:
  • A functional VM&F environment
  • All mandatory packages installed in the current SLES environment must also be installed in the target SLES environment
If either of these requirements are not met, a message reports that the system does not meet the criteria.
