Job failures occur for several reasons. Most often a job fails due to an error condition discovered by the job. To debug a job failure, review the sequencer and job logs to determine what the error is.
Jobs also fail to run when PUT encounters an error while attempting to request, submit, or start a job. This type of failure is most often caused by the PUT services being down on the node where the failure occurred. Restarting the PUT services on the affected node often clears the problem. It’s a good idea to check the services on the PUT master node to make sure they are running.
