The Select FDE Options step allows you to specify the Platform Family and the Full Disk Encryption operation mode.
For Platform Family options include:
- ELT Appliance
- DataMart Appliance (500/600 Series)
- Extreme Data Appliance (1000 Series)
- Data Warehouse Appliance (2000 Series)
- Active Enterprise Data Warehouse (6000 Series)
- Active Enterprise Data Warehouse (7000 Series)
- Non-Teradata Hardware
You can also specify one of the following Full Disk Encryption operation modes:
- Query FDE Status
- Enable Full Disk Encryption
- Reprovision/Repurpose Drives (External Storage Arrays)
- Secure Erase (Internal HDD Drives / 7200/7210 IntelliBase)
