Follow these rules when you create a new user. Otherwise, you may be unable to access Teradata ML Engine functions:
- The length of a user name must not exceed 63 bytes.
- A user name must start with a letter or underscore (_) and have only ASCII characters.
User names are not case-sensitive.
- A user name must not have special characters, except for underscore and dollar sign ($).
Quoted user names are not supported.
