This user guide contains information for the Windows, UNIX/Linux, and Apple macOS versions of ODBC Driver for Teradata. ODBC standards have been developed through the efforts of an industry consortium called the SQL-Access Group (SAG), which consists of vendors that include Teradata, Hewlett-Packard®, Ingres, Oracle®, Informix, Sybase®, Microsoft®, and Novell®. The standards established by SAG define common database access mechanisms to simplify the exchange of data between client and server.
