ANSI session mode allows rows, but duplicate rows are possible only if the table does not contain a primary key or any columns with unique constraints. Otherwise, a "duplicate row" error will be generated.
In Teradata session mode, duplicate rows generated from an INSERT ... SELECT statement were ignored and no error or warning was generated.
