- The DUMP privilege on the database or table to archive
- Ownership of the database or table
To archive database DBC, the user name must either be “User DBC” or be granted the DUMP and SELECT privileges by user DBC.
To archive a journal table, the user name must have the DUMP privilege on one of the following:
- The journal table itself
- The database that contains the journal table
To Archive a UIF object, the user named in the LOGON statement must have:

You cannot grant the DUMP privilege on the UIF object itself, but with the database-level DUMP privilege you can do a table-level archive of the individual UIF object.
