The use of the ERRLOG parameter depends on the operating system. On z/OS systems, name refers to a DD name defined within the step that calls ARCMAIN and is also limited to eight characters. This limit does not apply to other platforms.
On all other platforms, name refers to a disk file in the current directory.
Specify NOERRLOG to disable the ERRLOG parameter.
