New Operating System versions are certified within 90 days of the official vendor release of the OS version. Teradata may, at its discretion, delay support of the new OS version to more than 90 days from its official release.
Teradata automatically drops support of an OS version that has reach EOL or EOM, whichever comes first. This applies to all versions of TTU that had released support for the said OS version.
New OS Support
The following operating systems are now supported:
- Amazon Linux 2
- Mac OS/X 10.13
- IMS 14.1 and 15.1
- SUSE Linux Enterprise Server (SLES) 15
- Ubuntu 18.04
Discontinued OS Platforms (last release 16.10)
The following platforms have been discontinued:
- HP-UX Itanium
- IBM Mainframe z/Linux (Red Hat and SUSE)
Discontinued OS Versions (All TTU Versions)
The following operating system versions have been discontinued:
- OS X 10.7
- OS X 10.8
