Always use the most recent version of PUT. You can upgrade PUT using Customer Mode.

When you obtain the PUT packages, place them in the Customer Mode directory:
/var/opt/teradata/customermodepkgs
Be sure to delete any old files from that directory before copying the PUT files there.
- Log into PUT Customer Mode.
- Select Install/Upgrade PUT.

At the Install/Upgrade Software: Customer Mode step, confirm the summary, and click Next.
At the Finished! step, PUT displays a summary of what was upgraded.
- Click Finish.
