Since 1998, Teradata has proactively configured new Teradata systems for future use of VM&F. Many existing customer systems are well-prepared for using VM&F. Typically, these systems have been preconfigured with at least three or four 9 GB disks per node and have maintained a reasonable level of disk space management.
