The Move AMPs/PEs operation is one step in the process where it is necessary to replace old nodes and storage with new nodes and storage. To accomplish this task, and avoid a corrupted system, follow all the steps in Move AMPs/PEs.
The Move AMPs/PEs operation requires Teradata V2R5 or later to be installed on the system. You cannot proceed if PUT detects an earlier version of Teradata. Vantage must be configured.
