The Configuration Selection screen is where the target version for the system upgrade is entered. PUT uses this information to determine which system readiness check tests to run in order to verify the minimum upgrade requirements are met for the entered target version. Enter the major release version of the Teradata packages being upgraded in the Target PDE Version field and the path to the directory where the new packages are located in the Package Path field.

You do not need to fill in the Target PDE Version or Package Path fields. When no version is entered, PUT runs all tests available based on the current Teradata version running on the system.

If you want PUTSRC to check for package space requirements for the packages you are intending to install, select Check package space requirements before running Install/Upgrade Software operation.
