You may have to clear your browser or Java plug-in cache if you have a blank screen, Java Errors in the status bar, or a Java Applet that displays a gray box.
  1. To clear the Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) browser cache on the client system:
    1. Open the browser.
    2. From the Tools menu, select Internet Options.
    3. Click Delete Offline Content.
    4. Click OK.
  2. To clear the Java plug-in cache:
    1. Select Start > Settings > Control Panel.
    2. Double-click Java Plug-in.
    3. Choose Cache > Clear.
  3. When Java plug-ins conflict with each other, do the following:
    1. Remove all Java plug-ins.
Usually you don't need to reboot your system, but do so if requested.
    2. Launch PUT by pointing your browser at the Target System, then the correct plug-in downloads to your Client System.
