Lab users can submit a request to drop an object.

Teradata Database users or roles that have read-only access to a lab cannot send requests to drop an object.

  1. From the Monitoring tab, click next to the object, and select Drop Object. The object name and location display.
  2. [Optional] Enter a comment, up to 500 characters. You can indicate why you want the object dropped.
  3. Click Submit. You will receive an email notification after your request has been approved, depending on your email notification settings.
After your request has been approved, the Teradata Database object is dropped automatically and no longer appears in the Objects table in the Monitoring tab.
