An Aster Database major release includes significant new features and enhancements, as well as changes incorporated from earlier versions. Upgrading to a major release involves moving to a new base version of the Aster Database and all associated patches.
Work with your Account Team to order the new base version of the Aster software for either the Appliance or commodity hardware. The Aster software will contain the required base installation files, along with dependency files, in order to perform the Aster installation:
