The standard configurations for a 6750H/HX standalone 3+1 clique with SSDs and HDDs are:

  • Three Teradata Database nodes plus one hot standby node to four disk arrays (3:4 ratio)

The standard configurations with SSD:HDD ratios of 10:96 (with 24 APN) and 10:112 are unfolded 3+1 clique configurations that are available as field upgrades only. These 3+1 configurations have the same number of AMPs and drives as 2+1 clique configurations, but the AMPs and drives are distributed on three nodes (with 10.67 SSDs per active node; 32 SSDs per 3 active nodes).
You can increase the number of SSDs in the 16:72 standard configuration at time of order as follows: 20 or 24 SSDs per active node (60 or 72 SSDs per 3 active nodes).
You can increase the number of SSDs in the 10:96 standard configuration at time of order as follows: 13.33, 16, 18.67, 21.33, 24, or 26.67 SSDs per active node (40, 48, 56, 64, 72, or 80 SSDs per 3 active nodes).
