Follow these steps to authenticate a Browser, SSO, or Federated:

  1. From the Connection profile dropdown, select BROWSER Authentication Mechanism. Keep the Username and Password fields blank and select Finish Button.
The finish button navigates to the default browser with IdpUrl. This opens the logon page to authenticate the user details.
  2. On successfull user authencation the message 'TERADATA BROWSER AUTHENTICATION COMPLETED' is populated. Close the browser and verify that the connection is established with the database on the Studio Application.
  3. Studio maintains multiple sessions across different perspectives (Administrator,Query Development, Data Transfer). Multiple authentication may be required from the browser if the session is left idle for a long duration and expires as a result.
