Processing cabinets use AC feeder boxes mounted to the sidewalls on the inside of the cabinet. The AC feeder boxes allow approximately 2.74 m (9 ft) of cable egress out of the top or bottom of the cabinet.

To make sure the cabinet is configured according to the site power cord egress, the cabinet must be ordered with the power feature for top power cord egress or bottom power cord egress.

PFC, BYNET, and Switch Utility cabinets use AC boxes mounted in U spaces at the bottom of the cabinet. The AC boxes allow the power cord to egress approximately 4.27 m (14 ft) out of the bottom of the cabinet or approximately 2.44 (8 ft) out the top of the cabinet. The BYNET switch cabinet does not have a power feature that specifies top power cord egress or bottom power cord egress.
