For multi-node systems, you can use PUT or the psh procedure to install the software package on all Teradata Database nodes. For single-node systems, install the software package directly from a command-line window.
  1. If your Teradata Database node does not have the required dependencies, you must install them first.
  2. In a command-line window, change to the directory where the Appliance Backup Utility rpm package is located.
  3. Type rpm -i abu_service-16.20.00.00-1.x86_64.rpm.
