You can install and run the Appliance Backup Utility GUI on any Windows client node that is connected to the Appliance Backup Utility server. If you are installing on a Windows PC workstation, JRE 1.8 software or later version and Windows 7 are required.
- From the installation CD, navigate to ABU16.10_SERVICE>abu_gui>windows.

Select the 32- or 64-bit installation folder.
Operating System Folder 32-bit i386 64-bit x8664 - Navigate to abu_gui and double-click setup.exe. The ABU GUI InstallShield Wizard welcome screen appears.
- Click Next.
- Click Yes to accept the license agreement. The Choose Destination Location dialog box appears.
- [Optional] Click Browse and select an installation location.
- Click Next. A message appears when installation is complete.
- [Optional] Select the option to create a shortcut icon on the desktop.
- Click Finish.
