If a Teradata Database node that is not running the Appliance Backup Utility server fails, you can reconfigure the Appliance Backup Utility to run backup and restore jobs without the failed node.

Run the Appliance Backup Utility configuration script to change the client and destination paths. The mount points that the failed node used as Appliance Backup Utility destination paths must be accessible to the newly configured Teradata Database node.
