When migrating to a BAR solution or before installing a newer version of the Appliance Backup Utility, you must remove the existing Appliance Backup Utility package components.

At the command-line prompt, type the code that is highlighted in bold font in the following example:
# psh -group tpa psh.0> s all all 3 nodes selected psh.1> rpm -e abu_service psh.2> rpm -e abu_gui psh.3> quit #
All Appliance Backup Utility packages from all of the Teradata Database nodes in the system are removed.
