Teradata ARC allows you to specify all objects as individual objects in an Archive, Restore, or Copy statement. Support for performing these tasks with some objects depends on Teradata Database version.
You can only specify Tables as individual objects with Teradata Database 12.00 or earlier.
Specify the following objects as individual objects with Teradata Database 13.00 or later:
- GLOPs
- Indexes (Join and Hash)
- Macros
- Stored procedures
- Triggers (cannot be copied)
- User Defined Functions (UDFs)
- User Defined Methods (UDMs)
- User Defined Types (UDTs)
- Views
Specify the following objects as individual objects with Teradata Database 14.10 or later:
- Table Function (Operator)
- Parser Contract Function
Specify the following objects as individual objects with Teradata Database 15.00 or later:
- User Installed File (UIF)
- Remote Servers
Specify the following objects as individual objects with Teradata Database 16.00 or later:
- Schema
Specify the following objects as individual objects with Teradata Database 16.50 or later:
- Function Alias
