Teradata ARC does not allowed a table that was archived with the ONLINE ARCHIVE feature to be copied to a target system that has a different hash function than the source system. The hash function changed in Teradata Database 13.10, so Teradata ARC displays the ARC1273 error message to indicate this situation when attempting to migrate an online table from a pre-Teradata Database 13.10 system to a Teradata Database 13.10 or later system.
The ONLINE ARCHIVE feature is supported on Mainframe systems.
