To use a certain set of runtime parameters every time Teradata ARC is invoked, save them in a default configuration file pointed to by the DEFAULT runtime parameter. Each line in the default configuration file can contain one or more parameters. Add comments after two semicolons. If two semicolons are encountered in a line, the remaining characters of the line are ignored.
For example, the following default configuration file called C:\TESTARC\CONFIG.ARC includes a comment in the file and characters that are ignored:
