7.00.02 - Database Connections with Authentication Cascading - Aster Analytics

For Aster Database 6.0 and later, authentication cascading lets you hide the UserID and Password arguments, to help prevent its misuse.

If you want a driver-based SQL-MapReduce function to use the authentication information of the current connection to connect to Aster Database instead of specifying a new JDBC connection, do not provide the UserID and Password arguments.
