You may create your own self-signed certificate. The high-level steps for doing this using the OpenSSL tool are shown here, assuming you create a private key file called “host.key”:

openssl genrsa 1024 > host.key
chmod 400 host.key
openssl req -new -x509 -nodes -sha1 -days 365 -key host.key > host.cert
