Messages cannot have non-SQL data types, and the reason for that is that you must specify the schema of a message by using a series of calls like:
vertexMessageSchema = new ArrayList<SqlType>(); vertexMessageSchema.add(SqlType.doublePrecision());
These calls do not support types that are not SqlType.type_name().
