The dispatchers run requests on Teradata systems in the order the sequencer assigns.
Each Teradata system on each Business Continuity Manager server needs a dispatcher.
The dispatchers balance the load for connections on all available gateways on the target system and monitor the health of each gateway. For passive sessions, the dispatchers run requests on Teradata systems in the order received from individual client connections.
For managed sessions, requests are run in the order assigned by the sequencer as per the granting of locks.
