Running Bulk Loads allows Business Continuity Manager to:
- Load the bulk load data on both systems simultaneously.
- Commit the data at the load checkpoint only after the session is successful on the active system.
If the load checkpoint fails on the active system, Business Continuity Manager rolls back the load checkpoint on the standby system. This process makes sure that there is no significant gap between the active and standby system load job progress.
- Store the bulk load data in the /data directory.
