Business Continuity Manager routes all read requests to the active system. If the active system is unavailable due to planned or unplanned outages, you can configure Business Continuity Manager to perform one of the following:
- Automatically failover the read requests to the standby system.
- Wait for an Operator to promote the standby system to the Active state.
