This item is deprecated: new development should use Segment-length from the CLIv2-limits query.

The Maximum-segment-size is used to obtain the size limit when using the DBCAREA Segment-data option.

Refers to the database whose TDP identifier is addressed by the QEPTIDP field and has length specified by the QEPTLEN field. Since they do not apply, the QEPRQST and QEPTOKEN fields must contain binary zeroes.

Returns the maximum size of a segment.

Item Code Mnemonic Response DBQERMSS (DbqerMSS for C)
